ABOUT

Where the world comes to make quantum history

Life-saving medicines. Predictive weather modeling. Smarter supply chains. Real answers to climate change. Not long ago, these were the stuff of sci-fi. Today, quantum technology is bringing them within reach — and Quantum World Congress is where the future takes center stage.

Since 2022, QWC has been the arena where visionaries, policymakers, researchers, investors, and students collide to map what’s next. From its debut in Washington, D.C., to three groundbreaking years in Tysons, and now College Park, Maryland, QWC has defined Greater Washington as one of the world’s leading quantum hubs — where breakthroughs are revealed, collaborations are born, and innovation becomes reality.

The move to College Park (September 22-24, 2026 at The Hotel at The University of Maryland) reflects a deliberate step: bringing the global quantum community closer to the lab bench and the marketplace. Anchored by the University of Maryland and its surrounding Discovery District, College Park has become a powerhouse of research, investment, and commercialization — home to IonQ, Microsoft’s new quantum research center, and the DARPA Capital Quantum Benchmarking Hub.

Quantum World Congress isn’t just another conference. It’s the only global quantum exposition that unites the full ecosystem — academia, industry, government, finance, and community — to trade ideas, showcase solutions, and accelerate innovation.

Operated by Connected DMV, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to building next-generation industries through bold regional collaboration, QWC is presented in partnership with the Quantum Economic Development Consortium (QED-C) and the Quantum Industry Coalition (QIC).

This is where the world’s quantum community connects research with reality.
