Quantum World Congress 2025 is where science, industry, and policy converge to shape the future of quantum. This year, the spotlight will also shine on our home region through the session “From the Potomac to the World: Greater Washington’s Role as a Global Quantum Hub,” taking place on September 18th at 11:05 AM in the Main Theater.
Connected DMV, the nonprofit that operates Quantum World Congress (QWC), today announced the international speaker lineup for National Quantum Updates, a premier main stage session at Capital One Hall in Tysons, Virginia.
Today, Quantum World Congress (QWC) announced the University of Maryland (UMD) as the official Flagship Academic Partner for its 2025 convening—cementing a multi-year collaboration that has placed UMD at the center of the global quantum conversation and the heart of the rapidly growing Greater Washington ecosystem.
Ambassador Kwatra will address the Congress on Wednesday, September 17th at 11:25 AM from the main stage.
Erwin Gianchandani, Assistant Director for Technology, Innovation, and Partnerships (TIP) and David B. Berkowitz, Assistant Director for Mathematical and Physical Sciences (MPS) at the National Science Foundation (NSF), will headline a fireside chat at QWC2025.
