Dr. Pekka Pursula, Research Manager of VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, provided an update on the state of quantum development in Finland as part of the "National Quantum Updates" during the Global Cooperation learning track at Quantum World Congress 2023.

Dr Pursula has a long career at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, on several research and management positions. Currently he is the Research Manager of Quantum Technology. VTT develops technologies for scaling up quantum computers, as well as hosts the first Finnish Quantum Computers.
