Kaniah Konkoly-Thege, Quantinuum

Ryan McKenney currently serves as the Associate General Counsel of Compliance and Director of Government Relations for Quantinuum, a leading integrated quantum computing company. In this role, Ryan works on legal compliance efforts and government affairs and policy efforts from Quantinuum’s Washington DC office. Before Quantinuum, Ryan was an attorney at two large international law firms (Milbank and Orrick) focusing on technology transactions and privacy and cybersecurity compliance. Ryan is the co-founder and chair of the Quantum Economic Development Consortium (QED-C) Law Committee and an adjunct professor of law at Loyola Law School and will be teaching a short course on quantum law at Vanderbilt Law School in the spring. Ryan graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University and earned his J.D. at Vanderbilt Law School where he served as the Symposium Editor for the Vanderbilt Law review.

Jonah Force Hill is Managing Director & Head of Client Services at The LightBridge Group, leading the firm's consulting and advisory services. From 2021-2023, he served as the Director for Cybersecurity and Emerging Technology on the staff of the National Security Council at the White House, where he directed, among other presidential priorities, President Biden's national security memorandum on quantum computing. Prior to joining the White House, he served as Head of Cyber Policy at the U.S. Secret Service and Senior Specialist for Technology and International Affairs at the U.S. Department of Commerce. He maintains affiliations at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and the Council on Foreign Relations, and holds an MTS and MPP from Harvard University and a BA from UCLA.

Kaniah Konkoly-Thege serves as the Chief Legal Officer and Senior Vice President of Government Relations for Quantinuum. Bringing over 20 years of legal expertise, Kaniah leads a global team responsible for intellectual property, data privacy/security, commercial, corporate, employment, export control, litigation, and compliance. Kaniah has participated as a speaker or panelist at major quantum events in the U.S., EU, and Japan. She has served as Chair of the Quantum Economic Development Consortium's Law-Technical Advisory Committee, Chair of several ABA Science and Technology Committees and co-authored “The Legal Implications of Quantum Computing.”Kaniah formerly served as Vice President and General Counsel for Honeywell Quantum Solutions and Honeywell Federal Manufacturing and Technologies. Before Honeywell, Kaniah was a senior attorney for 12 years for the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. Department of the Interior. Kaniah earned her J.D. from American University and her bachelor's degree from the College of William and Mary.
